Congratulations to Joanna Wojdon
The IFPH opened a call for nominations for a position in its Steering Committe this past October. Self and individual nominations were accepted, and we received nominations by two wonderful candidates: Marko Demantowsky and Joanna Wojdon.
Elections were open for members to cast their vote from December 5 to December 16 of 2018. As a result, Joanna Wojdon won with 63% of the votes. Many congratulations to Joanna! You can (re)-read her statement here.
“First of all I wish to thank all the Members who voted in the elections.
Ready to accept new opportunities and new challenges I hope to meet you and other public historians during one of the meetings that are
scheduled for 2019 and 2020: in March at the conference of the
Jean-Monnet Network Applied European Contemporary History in Wroclaw, in June at the annual conference of the AIPH in Capua, in July at Public HIstory Summer School in Wroclaw, or maybe in 2020 at the International Congress of Historical Sciences (CISH) in Poznan. With best wishes for
Christmas and for the New Year. (Joanna)”
