The International Federation for Public History has established a Vimeo Channel to encourage scholarship, conversation and collaboration on a range of public history topics and themes. We hope that international public historians, scholars and practitioners at all stages of their careers and studies, will aim to share their ideas and scholarship here: https://vimeo.com/ifph
Possible themes might include history and film, historical walking tours, digital history, teaching practices, specific public history projects, internship experiences, re-enactment and living history sites, exhibitions and much more. You do not need to be an IFPH member to submit a proposal but we encourage you to join to reap the benefits of membership and networking on a global level.
Submission
We recommend producing a video that is 15 mins long but there is some leeway for shorter and slightly longer videos. Please let us know these details when you submit a video for our consideration to pubhisint@gmail.com. All video submissions will be assessed by members of the Steering Committee and feedback provided. We recommend using WeTransfer to transfer large video files for free.
